2021-08-07 Parallel 2021. Design & Photography exhibition

I am very pleased to exhibit in Parallel 2021. Design & Photography, which is an exhibition curated by MoscaPartners, an investigation into design and photography. In Parallel 2021 photography and design mark the opening words, the start of a reflection, an elective affinity on which to build the dialogue. It will be an opportunity to give my completely personal interpretation to a design piece designed by AccardiBuccheri A/B/ for Medulum, a completely new and partly unconventional vision. 2021-06-22 “My Private Star” a new, creative and contemporary zodiac

My Private Star is a new, creative and contemporary zodiac in which the signs are truly linked to our lives. Twelve objects typical of photography are used to represent the signs of the zodiac and describe their characteristics. They are also carefully selected in order to visually illustrate the history of photography. In My Private Star, cameras and photographic equipment become a metaphor for investigating our inner selves. My Private Star è un nuovo zodiaco, creativo e contemporaneo, nel quale i segni sono veramente legati alla nostra vita. Dodici oggetti caratteristici della fotografia rappresentano i segni zodiacali e ne descrivono le caratteristiche. Essi inoltre sono scelti in modo da riassumere visivamente la storia della fotografia. A new set-up of a private interior, made up by two pictures of “The place of destiny” project, and two other photos from a projects so new it has not a a title jet, but it is completly about emotions and colours! Ecco un nuovo allestimento in un interno privato: due foto ambientate a Milano dal progetto “Il luogo del destino” e due altre immagini da un progetto dedicato interamente ai colori e alle emozioni, e così nuovo da non avere ancora un titolo! The beaches of eastern Veneto are the setting for these images. Some events, although invisible, make their presence felt with atmospheres that are as charged and colourful as they are cryptic, and which fill the whole landscape. “Sea by night” images have been used by three local companies of Venice Province (Articom; CSA Service; Confida) for their greeting cards. For the realization of the new website Pianificando has asked me to photograph their 15 most recent projects. I paid particular attention to adopting recurring visual schemes to make the images of the various buildings, typologically different from each other, more homogeneous.It was a great challenge to take pictures describing both the projects and the designer: Pianificando, an engineering company active in 2005 in the field of urban and land planning. Per la realizzazione del nuovo sito web Pianificando mi ha incaricato di fotografare i 15 progetti più recenti. Ho dedicato particolare attenzione ad adottare schemi visivi ricorrenti per rendere più omogenee le immagini dei vari edifici, tipologicamente differenti fra loro. E’ stata una grande sfida lo scattare delle immagini che descrivessero sia i progetti sia il progettista: Pianificando, società di ingegneria attiva 2005 nel settore della progettazione urbana e del territorio.
