BIO
Luca Casonato (1977) after a degree in Building Engineering, he specialized in photography and completed his training as an assistant to the photographer Gabriele Basilico.
“The author’s project choices are characterized by two specific elements: the constant searching for the seriality and modularity in the contemporary landscape – it’s the result of a quasi-scientific attitude and method of investigating reality – and the courageous use, not lacking irony, of bright and very well-defined colours almost with a neo-pop taste – which is a very strong technical expressive code. […]
Luca Casonato’s researches have the quality to look all different and yet linked by a remarkable consistency that depends mainly on the way the author shapes the picture and thinks about the world in the form of a well-structured set, in which wide landscapes or environment details appear helping to create a vast mosaic that, we imagine, the author intends to continue to build methodically over time.” Roberta Valtorta

Roberta Valtorta
