My personal point of view on “BER – office”, project by ANK studio – Andrea Battistin  Andrea De Faveri (with the collaboration of Simone Tonetto Giulia Paladin Mauro Striuli). Dark varnished wood, an acid green velvet curtain, glass walls, an oak floor. Il mio personale punto di vista sul progetto “BER – Interni uffici direzionali” di ANK studio – Andrea Battistin  Andrea De Faveri (con la collaborazione di Simone Tonetto Giulia Paladin Mauro Striuli). Legno laccato scuro, una tenda di velluto verde acido, pareti vetrate, rovere al pavimento. “[…] Un oggetto multifunzionale, una fascia materica scura che a partire dalle pareti attrezzate e declinandosi di volta in volta in boiserie, sedute e portali di accesso segnano i luoghi dell’ingresso, della sala riunioni e degli studi. Design by: ANK Studio Photo by: Luca Casonato La rivista Architettura Italiana ha pubblicato online l’articolo “ANK – VILLE PARCO CAMPANA”   “Un complesso di tre ville insiste su un lotto con sviluppo longitudinale, lambito sui lati maggiori da spazi pubblici: un parco sul lato nord e una strada a sud. Il rapporto con lo spazio pubblico suggerisce l’impiego di un impianto a corte che garantisce maggiore privacy offrendo uno spazio aperto e privato ad ogni villa. Le ville presentano, dal punto di vista compositivo, una contrapposizione plastica generata dall’accostamento di un parallelepipedo neutrale e contemporaneo ad un volume attiguo, archetipo della tipica casa a falde, dall’aspetto materico e monolitico. Il volume a falde è una dépendance con spazi accessori, mentre la residenza si sviluppa su pianta orizzontale nell’edificio a tetto piano. L’impianto ad ‘L’ è anello di connessione fra lo spazio aperto della corte più intimo e quello che si affaccia sul parco”.

Triggered by complex processes and various factors, the current extent of abandoned land has reached unprecedented dimensions. Particularly in Europe, the overgrowth and forestation of formerly cultivated land is thought to be widespread and continually on the increase. Based on case studies from Switzerland and Europe, the goal of the research was to localize the abandoned areas and then categorise and define them as a growing component of the contemporary urbanisation process. The focus was on the question of how the landscape of abandonment represents/shows an economic, ecological, social or psychological problem and where their future qualities and potentials lie.”
