2018-11-01 “Thinking in colour”, solo exhibition – mostra personale

“Thinking in color” portrays the landscape we inhabit through a complex set of heterogeneous elements captured at various scales. The colour – vivid, defined, brutal – dominates the images and binds together all the elements. Personal exhibition at Noloso, via Varanini 5, Milan, from the 4th of November to 1st of dicember 2018. “Thinking in colour” ritrae il paesaggio che abitiamo attraverso un articolato insieme di elementi eterogenei colti a varie scale. Il colore – vivido, definito, brutale – domina le immagini e lega fra loro tutti gli elementi presenti. Mostra personale presso Noloso, via Varanini 5, Milano, dal 4/11/2018 al 01/12/2018.

I’ve photographed “Seven Last Words” exhibition by the Irish artist Sean Shanahan at Galleria San Fedele, Milan. It has been even an opportunity to take portrait of a group of visitors. Biography – Sean Shanahan was born in Dublin (Ireland) in 1960. After completing his studies in London and Madrid, he had his first solo exhibition in 1983; since then a lot of exhibitions, in private galleries and institutions, have followed. The artist is present with his works in numerous important collections both public and private. He lives and works in Brianza. Ho fotografato la mostra personale “Seven last Words” (“Le sette ultime parole”) dell’artista irlandese Sean Shanahan presso la Galleria San Fedele, Milano. E’ stata l’occasione per un ritratto di gruppo a dei visitatori. Biografia – Sean Shanahan nasce a Dublino (Irlanda) nel 1960. Dopo gli studi compiuti a Londra e Madrid, giunge alla sua prima personale nel 1983; da allora si susseguono esposizioni in gallerie private e istituzioni. Last November I photographed Nicola De Maria’s artworks for the exhibition and catalogue “Coloris Gaudium” at Galleria San Fedele, Milan. Taking pictures of Nicola De Maria’s artworks has been an experience similar to enter in a colourful world shaped by a child’s energy and fantasy. Gorgeous! Lo scorso Novembre ho fotografato le opere di Nicola De Maria per il catalogo e la mostra “Coloris Gaudium” presso la Galleria San Fedele, Milano. Riprodurre le opere di De Maria è stata un’esperienza simile ad entrare un colorato mondo forgiato dall’energia e fantasia di un fanciullo.
