2024-02-10 ZONCA lighting new brochure

New Zonca Lighting brochure and catalogue dedicated to the ZonKita LED lamp, a battery-operated table lamp with a satin brass finish and pleated ivory shade. The photo shoot involved both the lamp, photographed in different finishes, and the induction charger and multiple charging tray. 2024-01-29 ANK Studio – new postcards

I photographed the SEV residential building in Jesolo Lido, a project by ANK Studio, for the studio’s digital and printed communications. Among other things, seven 13x20cm postcards were printed, portraying the building and some of its details both during the day and at night. “The clear touristic connotation of the intervention […] places among the project themes the use of extroflexions through which to extend residential and commercial functions. […] The compact volume of the north façade, punctuated by the windows of the rooms and services, leaves room for the large windows of the living areas facing south, towards the sea. The terraces thus conceived are also exceptionally located to the north, on the top floors, to allow the view of the Venice lagoon to be enjoyed”. “Di Polvere e Luce. Ettore Frani” is the catalogue of the exhibition of the same name held from 8 November 2023 to 13 January 2024 at Galleria San Fedele, Milan. The exhibition was curated by Andrea Dall’Asta. “The different works represent a reflection on the possibility of light to transfigure everyday reality, consigning it to the eternal. Reality,’ Ettore Frani seems to tell us, ‘does not spring from a depth of darkness from which it must emerge violently, but from a light that we are called upon to protect, guard and love, because we come from light, this is our origin. Frani thus searches for life as it emerges in things, in matter itself, to the point of pulverising the image, as in the new and unprecedented cycle of drawings ‘Di polvere e luce’ (Of dust and light) where he looks at the symbolic metaphor of dust and shadow. Frani’s works become uncertain revelations, enigmatic epiphanies, in dialogue with works by prominent artists, showing how contemporary society is waiting for a hope that gives meaning to the world’s pain. Colliders is a photographic documentation of particle accelerators, artefacts produced by the most extreme human technical-scientific skill, albeit without original aesthetic ambitions or concessions to design. Colliders is a photographic elegy on the sophistication of machines and technology. CityLife depicts the multifunctional residential complex built in Milan by Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid as part of the CityLife project. In issue 213, June 2023, of JULIET Art Magazine, on page 66, you can read Elena Marcon‘s excellent article “Galleria Zero… in a photo by Luca Casonato” dedicated to Galleria Zero… of Milan.This is the first in a series of articles that I, together with Emanuele Magri, have proposed to JULIET Art Magazine and which will investigate Milan’s art galleries and in particular their interiors.
