Rosso Sahel is the visual diary of the journey undertaken by the photographer in Niger, as a member of the Technical Committee of the Pavilion of the Republic of Niger at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2023. Rosso Sahel is also an encounter with need, poverty and an invitation to take an inner journey that makes us aware of the simple privileges we enjoy in Europe: being able to drink a cool drink, wearing good shoes, knowing that there was always an alternative available.

Rosso Sahel è il diario visivo del viaggio intrapreso dal fotografo in Niger, come membro del Comitato tecnico del Padiglione della Repubblica del Niger alla Biennale di Architettura di Venezia 2023. Rosso Sahel è anche l’incontro con il bisogno, la povertà e un invito a compiere un viaggio interiore che renda consapevoli dei semplici privilegi di cui godiamo in Europa: poter bere una bibita fresca, indossare delle buone scarpe, sapere che c’era sempre un’alternativa a disposizione.
