We are always surrounded by forces and events that are completely beyond our will and control, which constitute an invisible, hidden and largely incomprehensible network.
Similarly, our unconscious is also covered by an unseen and often unfathomable network of drives, emotions, remote memories, and unconfessed desires.
Drawing on visual imagery closely linked to the scientific sphere, “The Quarantine Experience” gives visual form to these two networks, which permeate our entire existence and between which we live suspended often without realising it.
In these images, physical forces and entities interact, mirroring subtle feelings and realities.
Siamo perennemente circondati da forze ed eventi che sfuggono completamente alla nostra volontà e al nostro controllo, che costituiscono una rete invisibile, nascosta e per buona parte incomprensibile.
In maniera similare anche il nostro inconscio è percorso da una rete non visibile e spesso insondabile di pulsioni, emozioni, ricordi remoti, desideri non confessati.
Attingendo a un immaginario visivo molto legato all’ambito scientifico “The Quarantine Experience” dà una forma visiva a queste due reti che permeano tutta la nostra vita e fra le quale viviamo sospesi spesso senza rendercene conto.
In queste immagini forze ed entità fisiche interagiscono fra loro facendo da specchio a sentimenti e realtà sottili.
